TrueCore, a manufacturer of Insulated Metal Panels for use in facility construction and renovation of cold storage, food processing, industrial and environmentally controlled structures, commissioned A M King to design, construct and provide property services for its first greenfield facility.
The TrueCore facility consists of a structural steel frame, concrete tilt-wall panels, and a reinforced concrete floor slab. The building includes areas with 85-foot expanded bay spacing, recessed equipment pits, an overhead bridge crane and equipment rooms dedicated to chemical mixing and storage.
Utilizing unique technology, the facility can manufacture a greater scope of panel size options and length than any other company in the United States. TrueCore’s panels are developed using the latest manufacturing technologies with state-of-the-art equipment from Europe. Manufacturing processes at the new facility are fully automated, requiring very little human interaction.
