Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, one of the premier providers of rehabilitation services in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, called on A M King to design and build a facility to not only house its existing rehabilitation operations but to allow for the enhancement and expansion of these services. The result is a 47,000-square-foot facility that is the first one-stop physical therapy and athletic training facility in the Winston-Salem area. Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center uses the 6,000-square-feet of medical office space to provide medical exams, physical therapy, massage therapy and X-ray services. The hospital works with D1 Sports Training to provide athletic training and rehabilitation on the turf field, basketball court and weight room which occupy much of the rest of the facility.
