Ivar’s is a West Coast company specializing in a variety of custom displays, showcases, store fixtures and retail counter units. Ivar’s chose Shelby, NC as the home of its East Coast operations and worked with local economic developers who introduced them to
A M King. The building shell and site work was completed prior to A M King’s involvement, therefore, our team focused on Ivar’s request for dividing one facility into two fully operational, multi-tenant spaces. The project’s scope included the construction of a 4-position dock; a new 6”-thick floor slab; a demising wall dividing the facility into separate spaces; installation of a fire protection system, a new electrical system and state-of-the art woodworking, dust collection and compressed air systems.
