ALDI Inc. wanted to increase its market share in the southeastern United States and improve its efficiency in the region. A M King, an established partner of ALDI, provided the services to create a new food distribution facility in Jefferson, GA. A M King brought substantial savings to the project by designing and incorporating site-cast exterior architectural concrete wall panels in lieu of factory precast wall panels. The office area was also fully designed to take optimal advantage of building space and provide operational efficiencies and greater employee ergonomics. This project won the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Excellence in Construction Eagle Award. Since then, A M King has completed two expansion projects at this location.
