Intern to Project Engineer

As someone who had internships with other companies in the construction industry before spending a summer with A M King, my time here stood out for three important reasons: Our dedication to excellence in everything we do; the opportunity to learn from firsthand experiences; and the team-oriented nature of our operation as a company.

— Ben Mull, Project Engineer / NC State University Alum

Project Engineer

Working for a Design-Build firm means that I am in prime position for understanding client challenges and being involved in the entire process. I love traveling around the country to see our projects and assisting in transforming ideas into complex and beautiful facilities. My experience with A M King, though, is so much more than a job and a set of tasks. I am building a career that also includes community service, social opportunities, and connectivity.

— Cayla Thomas, Project Engineer / Virginia Tech Alum

My journey as an A M King Intern to Assistant Project Manager is a testament to the value of completing tasks, overcoming challenges and using lessons learned to build the foundation for greater responsibility and leadership. It isn't just about learning tasks; it's about developing the mindset of leadership, embracing responsibility, and turning challenges into opportunity.

— Brenden Stucko, Assistant Project Manager / UNC Charlotte Alum
