Bakkavor is a global food processor, baker and packager of private label foods for multiple grocery chains throughout the world. A M King provided full site building analysis, design, equipment evaluation, coordination and integration of construction services. The renovated facility consists of food preparation, mixing, cooking and packaging areas for soups, sauces, salads, and side dishes. Additionally, the building supports processing areas for baked goods, ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat entrees. Intricate installations included an insulated metal wall and ceiling panels; a freon refrigeration system; multiple blast freezers and coolers; dry and liquid ingredient storage areas; and a clean-in-place (CIP) hygiene system. The cooking equipment includes spiral ovens, production grills, batch kettles and production baking equipment.
