Jeff Teague Brings D1 Sports To Indianapolis

Charlotte-based A M King has developed a strong relationship with Sports Med Properties, the national real estate advisor of D1 Sports Training. A M King began construction on a brand new sports performance and physical therapy facility, D1 Indianapolis, in February. The estimated completion date is August 1, 2017.
The purpose of this facility is to serve the local community, promote athleticism and provide a place where local organizations can compete. In fact, the construction timeline is contingent to the Amateur Athleticism Union (AAU) summer sports schedule.
Jeff Teague, basketball star for the Indiana Pacers, is the reason D1 is coming to Indianapolis. “I want local athletes to have the same opportunities I had and more. This was the best way to accomplish that desire,” said Teague.
The 33,500-square foot facility features three full basketball courts, 18 hoops, team prep rooms, 7,500-square feet of interior turf training and 2,500-square feet of physical therapy space.
This facility positively impacts everyone involved, from Jeff Teague who is able to give back to the community that means so much to him, to the students who will utilize the facility to develop lifelong skills.
