A M King designed and built this state-of-the-art facility featuring a medical component, world-class athletic areas and office space. Complex solutions included installation of the following: the foundation drainage system to prevent water infiltration into the lower level; a chiller and cryogen vents required for MRI equipment; a complicated line with low voltage electrical installations for MRI and X-ray controls; occupancy indicators for staff/patient safety; and a humidifier dedicated to the MRI suite. An evaporative cooling system in the training areas was put in place to achieve optimum air temperature while saving money. The structure incorporates a 30-foot-tall conventional steel frame with brick veneer exterior, sectional glass doors to create an open-air training environment, a mezzanine with storefront exterior and large windows to take advantage of Rocky Mountain views.
